Ad & Cookie Policy

We collect personal information about users over time and across different websites when you use this website, application or service. To do this, we use several common tracking tools. Our vendors or third parties may place and use these tools on our websites or applications. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to Teacher Symphony and our affiliates. It also includes our vendors and third parties who place tools on our websites or applications.

Social Media, Marketing and Advertising Tools

Social media and marketing cookies allow you to connect to your social networks and share content from our websites through social networks. Interest-based advertising or “online behavioral advertising” is serving advertising content to you based on information collected from you over time across various websites or other platforms. It includes serving ads after you leave our site, encouraging you to return. It also includes serving ads that we deem relevant based on your browsing habits or online activities. These ads may be served on websites or apps. They can also be served in emails. We may serve these advertisements, or third parties may serve advertisements. They may be about our products or products from other companies.

Analytical Tools

We use these cookies to collect information about how you interact with our services to help us improve them. We may use these cookies to determine whether you have interacted with certain content or features. We use these cookies to learn more about which features are most popular with our users.

Essential Tracking Tools

These cookies are necessary for our services to function properly and to help identify and prevent security risks. We may also use these cookies to remember your settings and preferences. For example, if you study a Teacher Symphony study set in Test Mode, your preferences about how many and what types of questions appear on the test are stored in a cookie. When you log into your Teacher Symphony account, we set an encrypted cookie that uniquely identifies you so that on subsequent visits to quizlet.com you will automatically remain logged in. For some website features, it is necessary to temporarily store data on one page so that we can use it again on another. For example, if you are referred by another user to the Teacher Symphony, a referral code will be stored in a cookie so that, if you choose to update, we can credit that other user with the referral.

Our Do Not Track Policy

Some browsers have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. We currently do not respond to these signals. If you block cookies, some features on our websites may not work. If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop.
